NOTES:
The master bedroom is great for the honeymoon couple, the anniversary couple or someone for whom the day is a special day. It has a king bed. The windows face in the direction of the most dramatic view. It has also a large walk-in closet, a jacuzzi for two, and, best of all, a covered deck where you can watch the lightning play across the whole sky, see the sunset.. or even Moose Mama and her baby. Then there is a TV and VCR. Rates are $135 in season and $100 off season. The double queen has 2 queen beds. Rates are $100 in season and $80 off season. The other 3 rooms have queen beds, a desk and open out onto a large common deck. Rates are $80 in season and $60 off season. You can use the living room, browse in the garden (if you take your shoes off before entering the house!!), or, use the 8-person hot tub. Please give warning so it can be at an appropriate temperature. Breakfast is when you want it. The favorite choice is waffles with fruit from the garden, syrups and whip or sour cream. I ground the wheat when I make them. The second choice is a frittata with vegetables from the garden. I can make them vegetarian if desired. I offer homemade granola if you want it or will try to accommodate your special needs or desires. Guests (per room, after the first two) are $10 apiece. There are $5 discounts for return visitors. The State of Idaho demands a 7% tax (which has just increased, bless their souls). THANKS! (Note: for Ironman a deposit of 50% is required. Refunds are available with a greater than 1-month notification.) Check-out time is 11:00am and check-in time 4:00p.m….unless otherwise negotiated. Cedar Springs Bed and Breakfast is centrally located. We are about 40 miles from Spokane WA, 20 miles from Coeur d'Alene, and 15 from Post Falls Idaho. We are 10 miles north of Interstate 90, exit 7, on highway 41. It is easy to find but there is one tricky part and a few signs to watch for. The tricky part is staying on highway 41 through Rathdrum over the railroad overpass. To do this, take a left (if you are coming from I-90) at the third stop light in Rathdrum. Take a right at the second light heading towards Spirit Lake. (Please see the map below.) |
